Pool mosaics are very different to standard mosaics?

It is very important that when selecting mosaics for a swimming pool, that you ensure the mosaics are mounted on either:

1. Fine mesh, not the thicker net.
   
   
2. Paper face. The paper is then removed after the mosaics have dried. Most tilers prefer the net mosaics as it gives them more control during the installation.

Use the correct glue

Not many adesives are appropriate for swimming pools. Many Perth pool companies will know what to use, however if this is a DIY, please use the correct glue.

HINT: Appling a skim coat to the surface the day before will ensure you have a good bonding surface. The last thing you want is mosaics falling into your lovely pool.
