It’s about injecting personality, and Imola Ceramics has 147 years of experience in achieving this outcome. Employing world-class artists, Imola sends these creators around the world, gathering and collecting ideas which are then used in their styling of storyboards. For example, their recent production called Icona was inspired by the colours of the ’60s and the household icon the Fiat 500. The colours are a replica of the Fiat 500 colours seen zipping around the narrow cobblestoned streets of Italy. To celebrate the culmination of this philosophy Imola Ceramics showcases their products at the annual trade fair in Bologna Italy. This is held in October when traders from around the globe converge. The fair which is known as Cersaie attracts architects and designers wishing to devour the latest design and colour trends.



Other creators will exhibit at the fair each year. The BolognaFiere is now one of Europe’s most well-known exhibition centres. With over 400,000sqm of gross area, it attracts 2.2 million visitors annually.

Another creative powerhouse is Ragno Tiles. Ceramics International also draws from Ragno’s unique styles and trends.
