Imola Ceramica is a well established producer of fine porcelain tile. Established in 1874. Imola is a town within the metropolitan region of Bologna and is located on the Saterno River. Imola is an ancient city, founded in approx 82BC. Originally an agricultural town, but quickly became famous for its production of ceramics. The city is also noted as the home of Autodromo, Enzo and Dino Ferrari, which hosted the F1 San Marino. On a quieter note, the city is also remembered as the place where Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna died.
Today you will still fined the ancient castle Rocca Sforzesca. Its now being used to host movie nights in the months of July.
Ceramic making has always been an integral part of the life of Imola. The company itself has seen a major shift recently in its business models. It now forms part of a larger group of companies including LaFaenza. This powerful group is now producing a vast number of beautiful lines of tiles.
Ceramics International offers our customers, a wide range of tiles from Imola. This represents our signature brand. Tiles are exclusively available from our store here in Perth. Other suppliers on the East coast of Australia also provide this range. Imola has become the powerhouse of creativity and style. They produce a large number of designs and tile lines. Once a year, these new products are showcased at the international trade fair. Imola was the first to redesign the Hexagonal floor tile, which is becoming popular today.
As part of their commitment to design, Imola makes the finest porcelain tiles in Italy. Limited only by the imagination. In May 2016 we introduce the MUSE Range of tile, from Imola Ceramica. This is a wonderful range of natural honed stone look tiles. Available in the larger 1200×600, as well as 600×600.
